Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp gets big visitor update and new subscription service

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp received a significant update that increased the visitor count from 8 to 16 and added many other new features.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp users got to see the latest additions to their campsites today in a video taken by the Nintendo Mobile (opens in new tab). The new campsite visitor allowance, which was previously eight villages at a given time, has now been increased to sixteen.

The major update announcement video explains the new Animal Crossing Pocket Camp smart device widget. The wallpaper decoration will be updated in real time depending on the day and show players the date and a short message from the villager each day. This widget can also be used to quickly jump into the campsite from your mobile device.

Pocket Planner is the next feature coming to the app. The Pocket Planner is an in-game calendar that includes information such as villagers’ birthdays and in-game events. This is exactly what Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp offers. You can upgrade your Pocket Planner with the Merry Memories Plan for $0.99/PS0.79. This plan allows you to purchase new planner designs and personalize it to your specifications.

Players who upgrade their Pocket Planner will be able to purchase stickers for the planner and link the app with your device’s built pedometer, allowing you to track your steps every day. Subscribers can also enjoy exclusive in-game perks such as seasonal event rewards or 20 bonus leaf tickets each month.
