Check out DC’s full line-up of Black History Month covers

DC released six variant covers in its Black History Month celebration.

The six variant covers were created by Alexis Franklin, a renowned painter. They will be published in DC’s line February 2022.

Although Alexis Franklin may be best known for her comic book illustrations, she is also a comics cover artist. The self-trained artist illustrated cover illustrations for O, The Oprah Magazine featuring Breonna Taylor. She also painted an image of Anita Hill in Time magazine.

  • Later this year, the recently-reintroduced Milestone imprint will be publishing an innovative anthology called Milestones in History, blending the real-life true stories of Black historical icons, framed with narration from Milestone heroes such as Static, Icon, Rocket, Hardware, and more.
