Evil Dead: The Game delayed, will now release on Friday the 13th
Evil Dead: The Game was delayed in order to launch May 13.
To be exact, Friday the 13th. Boss Team Games, the developer of the asymmetrical multiplayer online game, announced that Evil Dead: The Game would launch later in the year for PC and both the PlayStation and Xbox 360 generations.
This delay is good news for Evil Dead: The Game. The developer replied to the announcement tweet and revealed that Evil Dead: The Game would soon get a new trailer and preorder bonuses.
The upcoming Evil Dead video game is a multiplayer co-op spin on the well-known TV/movie universe of Ash and Company. The new game will allow you to choose between the Evil Dead’s long-standing protagonist, or as his friends from the original Evil Dead film. You can also play against other players who control enemy characters.
It’s not the first time that Bruce Campbell has been reincarnated as a video game character. Ash appeared in the multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight. Evil Dead: The Game was delayed in its launch last year, 2021.
Boss Team Games’ latest project is one of many that have been affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. Evil Dead: The Game will arrive on all platforms on May 13, including the PS4, PS5 and Xbox One.
Evil Dead – The Game makes us wonder how ’80s horror was so obsessed with asymmetrical multiplayer.
