Forza Motorsport returns to Xbox Series X and PC in 2023

Next year will see the release of the latest installment in Forza’s franchise. Microsoft revealed the release date for Turn 10’s Forza Motorsport on Sunday at its 2022 Xbox and Bethesda Gaming Showcase.

Forza Motorsport first appeared at Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase 2020. However, not much was revealed about the game. The new title won’t include a number, unlike previous Forza mainline entries. However, it will be number 8, if you want to keep track.

The Forza series of racing games was split in two subseries over the past decade. Forza Motorsport’s numbered entries are focused on the track-based racing on which the series was founded. Forza Horizon 2, the second franchise, takes players to fictional real-life places and environments in order to have an open-world driving experience. Horizon games were Forza’s previous two entries, making this year’s title the premier Motorsport entry since 2017.

Forza Motorsport, like many of Microsoft’s first-party titles in the past few years, will be released on PC and Xbox One. It will also be available on Game Pass once it launches.
