Halo Infinite is reportedly getting a new game mode from a longtime collaborator

Halo Infinite may be receiving a new mode from a third-party collaborator. It could offer a new approach to a traditional shooter standby.

A new report from Windows Central (opens in new tab) indicates that Certain Affinity, a developer, is working with 343 Industries to create a new mode of Halo Infinite. This would be in addition to its collaboration with Microsoft on the Monster Hunter-inspired game codenamed Project Suerte. According to the report, Certain Affinity’s Halo Infinite new game mode could include a battle royale or something else.

Max Hoberman, a former Bungie developer, founded Certain Affinity in 2006. He has worked on numerous Halo games and also contributed his expertise to many shooters such as Left 4 Dead and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. Certain Affinity is the best option for anyone looking to create their own Halo Infinite experience.

Halo Infinite launched with more than 20 million players. There have been some hiccups along the way. If Certain Affinity is really preparing Halo’s first official battle royale, that’s quite a lot of Spartans.
