How currency and loot boxes will be transferred to Overwatch 2: developers explain how money

Loot boxes are now available.

Overwatch developers demonstrated how content will be transferred from one game to the other in a Reddit Q&A. Overwatch 2 has loot boxes that are not available in Overwatch 2. This transfer is necessary.

• Overwatch League Tokens will be migrated.

• Credits can be carried forward.
• You have not opened the loot boxes, but you bought them. They can’t be transferred. During migration, loot box contents will automatically be opened and added to the player’s account. These loot boxes will be carried over to Overwatch 2.
