Via Desktop App – PC & Mac

Steps to change your password using Desktop app – PC & Mac

1. Start the Steam App
2. Click Steam (Upper left corner) > Click Settings (PC) or Preferences (Mac)
3. Click on Change password. If the option doesn’t appear, check that “Account” is selected in the menu to the left.
4. Double-enter your new password
5. Click to Change Password

That’s all. You have just changed your password.

Via Website – PC & Mac

1. Log in to Steam.
2. Select Account Details and click your username
3. Scroll down and click on “Change my password”.
4. Double-enter your new password
