Creative Assembly and SEGA announced HYENAS, a multiplayer sci-fi PS3 console. You can view the broadcast trailer and league announcements here.
HYENAS will allow players to meet up with their fellow players and steal billionaires from rival teams for a rare pop culture treasure. Since I’m honest, I wasn’t impressed by what I saw.
Creative Assembly claims that this will not be a Battle Royale, so I’m looking at a picture of a shooter. The art doesn’t require me to drink my tea. This game is clearly targeted at young audiences by Creative Assembly and SEGA. It remains to be seen whether they will succeed in the event that they failed.
SEGA plans to take action against the HYENAS by 2023.
