Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is an outlandish 3v7 horror experience arriving in early 2023

I often complain about the need to stop converting horror classics of cult films into video games. However, we did see the Killer Klowns of Outer Space: The Game made public on Gamescom Opening Night Live last night. I didn’t realize that this surprise revealed by some clowns who looked grotesque was exactly what I was hoping for, despite the fact that it’s an all-in-one experience.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a classic horror film that was released in 1988. It’s funny, outrageous, and all about unwelcome aliens that appear to be clowns. If you’ve never seen it, you may consider it to be a little silly in some places, and in some, the film is, however, that’s what’s so appealing about this film. It does not take it too seriously, and is providing a fun terrifying experience that takes you back to the 80s.

With this in mind, along with the popcorn gun that looks like a bazooka, and cocoons individuals are stuck in throughout the film it is logical for the film Killer Klowns from Outer Space is currently being developed into a video game set to launch in 2023.

The trailer unveiled at Gamescom ONL brings Killer Klowns from Outer Space to the modern present. They appear as terrifying as they did back in 1988, and in the present, an entirely new audience will be introduced to the human-harvesting troupe of clowns.

While playing your game experience, you’ll get to take on the role of one of the brave citizens of Crescent Cove, or you may also play the part of one of three Killer Klowns. It’s entirely up to you as a survivor, if you’d like to outlive the game or be a villain to stop the clown’s alien invasion.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is also packed with numerous locations, randomly generated maps, as well as numerous strategies for Crescent Cove citizens and troublesome clowns to try out. In particular, the game’s Steam page claims it “Killer Klowns evolves the online horror formula in new ways.” Perhaps, this is an asymmetrical horror game that will bring multiplayer horror back to my radar for the next time… it’s going to be interesting have to wait and see.
