Microsoft released the latest test build of Windows 11 with the tabs in File Explorer

It has been almost four years since Microsoft changed the Explorer tabbed interface to mass use. Windows Insider Dev Channel installed Windows 11 build 25136 now. This brings File Explorer back into tabs and makes several other changes.

Microsoft announced in March that it would change File Explorer in Windows 11. It is easy to move between folders and not open any new windows with the new interface. The latest Explorer version is currently only available to a small number of Insiders, according to available data. Microsoft may want to provide more feedback on the innovation.

The Explorer’s navigation column has been updated. Panel elements are designed to be easy for the user to navigate between them. The top is home to many popular folders such as OneDrive and Favorites. You can pin folders to this page at your convenience so that you have easy access.

This test build also includes dynamic content added to the widget’s Windows 11 Taskbar. The Weather widget used to be located in the taskbar. It is now displayed on the current weather profile. Click on the Widgets button to see all the information you need from the Finance and Sports sections, as well as the most recent news.

Microsoft developers previously mentioned that the Notepad app was being tested. It now supports ARM64 as well as auxiliary functions such screen readers and text zoom. Some users may find the updated Media Player application very helpful, as it now supports playing CDs. A new filtering option was added to the player, which allows you to sort by entry date by adding dates.
