MLB The Show 22 release date set for April and it’s headed to Switch too
MLB The Show 22 will be coming to Nintendo Switch. This marks yet another frontier for Sony’s baseball sim series.
Sony announced(opens in a new tab) that a Switch edition of MLB The Show 22 will be joining the Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S consoles, along with the announcement of Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Angels pitcher, as this year’s cover athlete. The Switch version will arrive in swinging, with full cross-play/cross-progression support for all its included modes. The standard version of MLB The Show 22 will be priced at $59.99 instead of the new-gen version at $69.99.
The original edition of MLB The Show was released on PS2 and PlayStation Portable in 2006. Every subsequent entry was exclusive to PlayStation consoles until MLB The Show 2021. MLBThe Show 21 was a landmark year for franchise history, so it is only right that Nintendo joins the party.
