Modern Warfare 2: How to kill enemies with the Inflatable Decoy

September 18, 2022

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is now in the Open Beta stage and has been given some cool new features by Infinity Ward. One of these Field Upgrades includes an Inflatable Decoy. The deployable and throwable items have been able of hitting enemies as they’ve got their hitboxes.

A player has successfully killed an opponent using an inflatable decoy Field Enhancement. The decoy is believed to cause damage to opponents and ensure the full kill for them on their own.

An Inflatable Decoy is effective to boost kills in Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is currently in the Open Beta phase for PlayStation 4 and 5. The game is now available to players who pre-ordered it and were issued access codes for the game on September 16.

It seems that the Call of Duty community always discovers new ways that send players to death. The players would rather throw a grenade five yards away, rather than aim their guns and shoot their foes.

Modern Warfare 2 has once provided players with an entertaining toy to play with. It was released as an upgrade for the Field. The Inflatable Decoy is a Defensive Archetype. It’s activated by proximity. It can also be manually inflated.

A user on Twitter @itsHunterTV was the first user to upload a video of him getting an elusive kill with an Inflatable Decoy.

Players must first get their Inflatable Decoy as their Field upgrade. The players then have to wait for their ideal enemy to attack them or chase them out of the room, which is best.

It is crucial to remember that players must make sure to throw the Inflatable Decoy in an angle so that the opponent is on the top.

If the opponent is not aware of the decoy device at the feet of their opponent, then it’s going to be deployed after a short delay and instantly kill them with its explosive inflation.

It is also possible to manually inflate the decoy by hitting the Field Upgrade command again after deployment to speed up the activation of the device.

The opponents who are killed this way will probably not be content with the account that tells them exactly what transpired. The instant destruction caused through the Inflatable Decoy which is little other than a Combatant-shaped Kevlar Balloon will raise some questions among players.

Activision has set these Beta stages precisely so that gamers can spot exploits testers and developers might have missed. Activision might modify its Field Upgrade in hopes of getting rid of its use in lobby rooms.

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 will feature identical weapons and equipment and Field upgrades. It will be interesting to see how the story unfolds, with these new stunts that are already being reported online will be an exciting experience. Fans are looking forward to experiencing the brand new world of coming Call of Duty titles.
