New PlayStation Plus game Stealth was released
Sony has quietly released a new PlayStation Plus title for Premium-tier subscribers. Super Stardust Portable is the game. PlayStation Portable users may recall that this was the original version of Super Stardust Portable. The game is now enhanced with some features one can enjoy after making a platform leap like this. However, you will likely need to purchase it in the PlayStation Plus catalog.
Sony has not had any interest in this game and it was dropped from the catalog. Reddit user, TURB0_THUNDER, noticed that the game was available in the classic games section on the new PlayStation Plus service. PlayStation Plus Premium games are available in different regions, but at least they’re available in North America. Eurogamer stated that it wasn’t yet available in Europe.
Although the PlayStation Store lists a Super Stardust Portable as not available for purchase, Sony claims it can be purchased via PlayStation Plus Premium. The game’s brief description stated that it was “enhanced” with rewind and quick save, custom video filters, and that it has been made for the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. This means it might play differently to the original version. It was given to people who couldn’t play it before.
A preview of the game reads: “Defend five planets in danger as you explode into one mad shoot ’em up attack.” “Transfer with orbit tens to thousands of tanks in two exciting modes: Arcade or Planet.”
Although the PlayStation Plus game is included with every purchase, some don’t like how it’s being distributed. Reddit users who discussed the issue noticed that it is difficult to find these games on the original platforms. Also, that it wasn’t easy to find it anywhere if Sony didn’t make it public.
