PlayStation Discord features are going live now – here’s how to set them up
PlayStation Discord integration has gone live in the US. You may be able now to link your accounts if you are in one of the early wave.
This integration (opens in new tab) was announced last year. It allows users to see their PSN account name, current PS4 and PS5 game activity, as well as their Discord profile. Although it doesn’t bring Discord communication features to PlayStation system, it can still be useful for keeping track of what friends are doing regardless of where they are playing it.
You can check if your PlayStation and Discord accounts are eligible for linking. To do this, go to your Discord settings menu. You’re allowed to connect your PlayStation Network account if you see the PlayStation Network icon. You can sync up by logging in to your PSN account from the next page.

If you wish, you can show your PSN profile name only or you can display what you are playing. For the Discord activity display to work, your PlayStation profile must have its PSN Online Status as well as Now Playing visibility options set at “Anyone”.
Discord claims that the new PlayStation integration will begin with a gradual rollout in the US, and other countries will follow the next week.
