Pokemon Go is now offering trainers Pokemon Legends: Arceus costumes

To celebrate the launch of Pokemon Go, Pokemon Legends: Arceus-themed avatars can be purchased.

All trainers can now access new avatar items that are based on Pokemon legends: Arceus. This was announced via a tweet from the PokemonGo Twitter account (opens in new tab). These new outfits were inspired by Legends of Arceus. They are identical to the ones Akari and Rei wore in the new Pokemon title.

It shouldn’t be surprising to PokemonGo players, who had been noticing subtle hints at a Pokemon Legends: Arceus cross-over over the months leading up to this highly anticipated game’s release. The current Season of Heritage Pokemon Go season still has strong Legends: Arceus vibes, but we will have to wait to see if there is anything else.

We’re sure you were aware that Pokemon Legends: Arceus finally released today. It was a long, painful wait for Pokemon lovers all over the world. It’s not surprising that Pokemon Legends Arceus was the most pre-ordered UK game.

This launch has not been smooth for Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. As early as last week small portions of Pokemon Legends were leaked onlineincluding gameplay, maps and the entire Pokedex . Some players started streaming Pokemon Legends: Arceus even before the game’s launch, and selling copies of the original Pokedex they received on eBay.
