These are the steps for setting up a keyboard and mouse on PS5.
A wired keyboard and mouse
- Use the USB ports on the PS5 console to connect your keyboard and mouse
- After a few seconds, both devices should be recognized by the PS5.
- You can customize your settings by going to Settings >Devices.
- You can choose to personalize either your external keyboard or mouse
Wireless keyboard and mouse
- Connect your keyboard/mouse adapter (a wireless dongle), to the PS5 USB port.
- The PS5 may take a while to detect your new peripherals.
- To ensure devices are recognized, check the settings as with the wired version.
To use a Bluetooth PS5 keyboard
- Turn it on, and then go to Settings
- To pair them, go to Devices.
