Redfall’s meddling kids get together to fight vampires by the seashore
Redfall is Arkane Studios’ open world, cooperative shooter. A new five-minute gameplay trailer was released to launch the Xbox & Bethesda Game Showcase on Sunday.
The long reveal gave players a glimpse into a post-apocalyptic world of vampires, set in a New England beach town. There the sun is always under the moon and the tides have receded. Redfall has four playable characters, each with their own special abilities and gadgets. Arkane Studios Austin states that Redfall is a solo-friendly experience but was designed with multiplayer in mind.
If the shit goes down, players can use stealth and sync shots to tackle potential threats. One character has impressive psychokinetic abilities. Another is a combat engineer who controls the battlefield. A third is a TV star who cryptid-hunts with a cheerful British accent.
Redfallis expected to launch on Window
s PC and Xbox Series X in early 2023 — within the next 12 months, according to the company. Xbox Game Pass will also launch the game simultaneously.
