Scream 6 Four actors from the predecessor return

The month of February saw Paramount Pictures and Spyglass officially approved another film sequel the Scream series . The sixth installment of the series is expected to begin in July with a number of cast members confirmed to be in the sequel.

Melissa Barrera (Sam), Jasmine Savoy Brown (Mindy), Mason Gooding (Chad) and Jenna Ortega (Tara) reprise their roles from the previous. It is likely that there will be an appearance by Courteney Cox. The actress announced her appearance in march . It’s not clear if Neve Campbell is a member of the show for the second time.

As with that of the principal cast members, there’s no need for any significant changes to the scenes, either. The film is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin along with Tyler Gillett, while James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick will write the screenplay. The plot is believed to focus on the mentioned quartet who have left Woodsboro following an encounter with the Ghostface killer in order to start an entirely new chapter in their lives. However, they are soon to meet an unknown killer.

The fifth film in the Scream series debuted to German theatres during January. The film was the only movie in the series to be made in the absence of Wes Craven, who died in the year 2015. Scream was a success in the theater and made $140 million in the world, greatly over its predecessor. Scream 4 reached 97 million dollars in the year 2011 and, at 40 million dollars, was significantly more costly than the previous installment that is believed to have been budgeted at about 24 million bucks.
