Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl trailer takes you inside the Zone, release pushed to 2023
Today, GSC Game World, a Ukrainian developer, released a trailer for Stalker 2, Heart of Chornobyl.
The series is based on three videogames and many books, comics, fan-fiction pieces and comics. It has sold more than 15 million copies worldwide.
The Zone, a post-apocalyptic open world and one of the largest in the series, will be yours to explore in the game.
- The Zone will have both factions and monsters inter-acting with one another. A-Life, a living world that simulates the system, was introduced in previous Stalker games. A-Life 2.0 is the reimagined version. It will control the world’s state and the behavior characters and mutants. The Zone will be ever-changing and living. Even if you’re not there, many events and encounters are possible.
Your decisions will have a long-term impact on the world.

GSC Game World employees decided to protect their country, while part of the development in Kyiv continues. GSC Game World has opened a new Prague office, Czech Republic, to house much of the game’s development.
In 2023, the latest entry in this popular franchise will be available on Xbox Series X/S or PC.
