The sales in the PlayStation 5 exceed 20 million worldwide

We are pleased to announce that over 20 million PlayStation 5s have been sold worldwide, said Veronica Rogers (Vice President of Business at SIE).
Since its November 2020 release, the PlayStation 5 has been in high demand. While the COVID-19-related pandemic will not end, Sony will ensure that it sells more consoles than it needs. According to the company, Sony plans to increase PS5 sales volume for the remainder of the year. This is not the first time such statements have been made by the company.
We have worked tirelessly to ensure that the P5 is available to all our customers since its launch. We are grateful to our fans for their support. We are able to use new technological innovation and next-generation games because of your passion for the PlayStation brand. We want to reach those who have yet to purchase the PlayStation 5. We’ll be able increase the price of the consoles next year, and we will make it available to everyone.
Despite the high demand, the PS5 continues losing to the PS4. The company believes that the PlayStation 5 will outsell the PlayStation 4 by the end of its fourth year.
