Tvö – All Puzzle Hints and Guide

Hints for each puzzle that become more spoiler-y till we unveil the answer. We’ve included spoiler tags to ensure it’s possible to divulge as you want or as little as you want.

 

Guide Intro

Hello and welcome to the Developer’s guide for Tvo! If you find yourself confused and in need of help this guide will aid you in finding your way to the intricate and twisted maze. We’ve tried to offer some spoiler-free suggestions for those seeking a push in the right direction. concluding with full video tutorials for those who are beginning to shed their hair.

Throughout the entire guide, we’ll refer both players to Player1 and 2. Player 1 . is the player who hosts the game, and is known as “Lost Soul” in-game. Players 2 are the player who is playing and is being referred to as “Condemned Soul” in-game.

 

Main Plaza Puzzle

The first challenge of it is in the central plaza, where players begin the game.

Puzzle Elements:
Each player has glyphs that can be interacted with on their walls which can be turned on or off. Light Hint:
When a player turns on the glyph, they must check to see if there are any changes.
When Player 2 is turned on by one of the glyphs and the change is visible ahead of them. Heavy Hint:
Each of the glyphs used by Player 1 alters the color of an orb once they’re switched on.
Player 2 must be aware of the glyph and color of each from Player 1. Solution:
Each of the glyphs used by Player 1 changes the color that an orb appears.
Player 2 must illuminate the glyph using similar symbols, and colors like the orb. The same process is repeated for all three of the glyphs that are on Player 1’s side.

Follow the Lights Puzzle

This puzzle is accessible after you have completed it as part of the Main Plaza game. The entrance that is marked by the “fish” symbol is the entrance to this puzzle “fish” symbol indicates the part of the maze that contains this puzzle.

 

Follow the Lights Puzzle

 

Puzzle Elements:
Every player is given an interactable maze wall glyph that is able to be turned off near the entry point. Light Hint:
When either player activates the glyph they need to be looking up and around for any changes. When a glyph is turned on, it begins a timer. When time expires the glyph is deactivated while the changes get reversed. Heavy Hint:
While the glyph is on the screen, an array of orbs that will lead towards the last piece alter the color. If they follow the orbs players will discover glyphs that they are able to interact, with and must communicate with before the time is up. Extra Heavy Hint:
The solution is to have each player have one and only one in their final symbols in use. Solution:
In roughly the same order the players must hit their first glyph, and look for orbs that change hue; blue orbs are for Player 1 and red orbs for Player 2. When they reach near the top of the route the players will see three glyphs with an interaction option. They have to select the glyph that matches (and only the one! ) It looks like “S” “fish” “F” or “C”, to solve the puzzle.

Triggers & Platforms Puzzle

This puzzle can be played after completing this puzzle after completing the Main Plaza Puzzle. The doorway by”Snuggling Arrows,” or the “snuggling arrows” symbol indicates the area of the maze that contains this puzzle.

 

 

 

Puzzle Elements:
One player has 3 triggers in the ground.
Gamer 2 contains three interoperable symbols that are not in reach. Light Hint:
When Player 1 pulls the trigger and Player 2 is triggered, the player should check for changes. Heavy Hint:
If Player 1 presses the trigger, the platform is raised to the side of Player 2. one that they can sit on.
The glyph that is activated will reveal the final element in the puzzle. Solution:
Player 2 should be on the platform beneath the glyph which is located in the middle of the block. Player 1 will then be able to stand at the trigger in middle using it displaying the “II” glyph on it to raise the platform. When the glyph is within reach, Player 2 must activate it, and the wall will be lowered to reveal a code that is written with blood across the wall, reading “23113”. Player 1 must then enter the code by stepping on the triggers and entering the glyphs that are in the order: “II” “III” “I” “I” and “III”.

Second Plaza Puzzle

This puzzle is accessible after you have completed the first three problems: Main Plaza, Follow the Lights as well as Platforms & Triggers. In the main plaza, the door identified by the “bow tie” symbol is the entrance to this maze “bow tie” symbol indicates the maze that contains the puzzle.

 

 

 

Puzzle Elements:
Every player is surrounded by a huge plaza that has multiple stone triggers all around the plaza. Light Hint:
Each player has glyphs in a column on the plaza they share. Heavy Hint:
This column shows what triggers the player to stand The symbols are covered in blood or mud for every player. Extra Heavy Hint:
Each player must be on triggers that are in sync in order to solve the puzzle. Solution:
It is imperative that players stand upon pairs of glyphs and follow the order of the column of symbols, from the bottom to the top. The glyphs of the pairs that are in the order (approximately) include “FT”, “RM”, “

Underground Maze Puzzle

The puzzle can be found after completing this Second Plaza puzzle. In the Second Plaza, the door identified by the “tree branches “tree branch” symbol indicates the area of the maze that contains this puzzle.

 

 

 

Puzzle Elements:
Both players are trapped in an underground maze, which is several square rooms with each having an entry point and has three exits. Light Hint:
The text of Player 1’s antechamber contains an indication that all players must switch their torch on to advance within the puzzle. Heavy Hint:
The tunnel is rotated each time players are transported back to the annex.
In every room, there is only one side that is equipped with the information the other players require to go. Extra Heavy Hint:
The language in the antechamber for Player 2 contains an indication that both parties have to leave the space in the exact direction of the doorway. Solution:
In every room, there is only one side that has orbs. When their torch is out, at least one orb lights up to indicate the exit. Both players must exit via the same exit in relation to the room’s entry point.
Players must traverse four rooms before coming to the finish of the maze underground, where they can continue until the wall is closed behind them. When both players have completed the maze closed to the wall, the challenge is completed.

Welcome Home

You’ve finished all the puzzles and are now free to explore the maze during daylight hours. Go back towards the plaza, and proceed to the portal to wrap the game with a final audio clip with no escape. Once both players have completed this, utilize the pause menu to return to your main menu.
