Upcoming RPG Trinity Trigger is launching in the West in early 2023

You can defeat fate and the Gods as you master rare weapons and save the planet in Trinity Trigger. Launch in the West on Switch, PS4, and PS5 in 2023.

Trinity Trigger, an action RPG with a 90s feel, is coming soon. Published by XSEED Games and available in Japan starting September 15, 2022. In the West, Trinity Trigger will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, or PS5 beginning in 2023.

The official trailer for Trinity Trigger shows the main characters, Triggers, and general gameplay.

Trinity Trigger was the battle between the Gods of Order & Chaos for control of Trinitia’s continent. Their battle almost ended in the destruction of the mortal realm. However, their war left behind powerful weapons called Arma.

This game tells the story of Cyan, Elise, and Zantis as they travel across Trinitia where they encounter Triggers that transform into various weapons. These three heroes must work together to save the world.

Trinity Trigger is available for single-player and co-op play. It has a retro 90s look with its fast-paced customizable combat and design. You can challenge your abilities and overcome enemies in unique biomes and dungeons.

These are the key features of the game:

  • Master the Arma. Solve puzzles and defeat enemies to make your way through the dungeons in each Arma tower, made from the god’s fallen weapons.
  • Discover the secrets of Trinity. Explore hidden passages and biomes, and talk to townspeople to find clues.
  • Weapon change: You can use the Weapon Wheel to switch between 8 weapons. You have to discover the weakness of your enemy and exploit it.
  • Epic RPG: A classic gameplay style mixed with modern elements.

Yuki Nobuteru (world-builder), Hiroki Kakuta (Secret of Mana), Raita Kazama (Xenoblade Chronicles) and Yura Kubota, (Octopath Traveler), are the game’s developers.
