Genshin Impact has been experimenting with using anime-style promotional videos such as those from Yae Miko’s video, Tsubaki in Thawing Snow with the Winter Night’s Lazzo. Fans have been clamoring to see the release of a Genshin Impact anime–a plea that hasn’t gone unanswered by HoYoverse’s ears. The creator announced the possibility of cooperation together with Japanese anime studio UFO Table which was behind several of the most well-known and visually stunning shows of the past including Fate: Unlimited Blade Works and Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer).
The Genshin Impact anime project is in development, HoYoverse has yet to provide specific information about the game’s features that players will get from the partnership. This isn’t my first experience with animation projects. In fact, they launched a two-part ONA titled Cooking with Valkyries in Honkai Impact 3rd, produced by their own studio miHoYoAnime. It’s not clear if Genshin Impact will be a Genshin Impact animation will be multi-episode, the form of a film, or even an ONA.
Furthermore, HoYoverse has yet to provide a timeline for the project, which suggests that it could be a long delay before the project’s release. At present, viewers can enjoy the incredible visuals that are featured in the conceptual trailer that is available on Genshin’s channel on YouTube here.
